Pioneering a new era of homes
A Miami-based developer has chosen MCT as its trusted partner to bring a groundbreaking modular construction technology to Central Florida, paving the way for a new generation of sustainable and resilient homes.
Founded with the ambition to revolutionize residential building, the customer has already delivered a diverse portfolio of single-family homes and townhome communities across Florida and Texas, with more than 5.000 new homes under development. The goal is clear: provide homeowners with faster, safer and better living spaces designed for the future.

The New Precast Plant in Florida
To meet this ambitious vision, the customer has invested in three dedicated factories:
- one producing concrete foundations and staircases,
- one specialized in kitchen and bathroom pods,
- and a third, newly built, dedicated to walls, flooring and insulation.
At the heart of this latest facility lies a new MCT batching plant that feeds the carousel line from Progress Group. Designed and manufactured in Italy, the plant represents a state-of-the-art solution for precast concrete production and marks a strategic milestone for MCT in strengthening its presence in the U.S. construction industry.

Building Hurricane-Resistant Homes
The customer’s modular construction method allows for entire homes to be built in less than 60 days, compared to the industry average of six to nine months. Every structural component — from rooms to walls — is prefabricated in the factory and then assembled on site like Lego blocks, ensuring speed, accuracy and durability.
These homes are not only fast to build, but also hurricane-resistant, a critical advantage for Florida. This innovative approach moves beyond the traditional fragmented, multi-contractor model, replacing it with a fully integrated, tech-driven process that minimizes errors and delays while maximizing quality.
During a recent visit, Mascotte City officials toured the new precast facilities in Homestead and Pompano, expressing strong interest in the upcoming Villa Pass project — a community of 200 single-family homes near Orlando.
“This is definitely a unique product that will do well in a state that is prone to hurricanes,” said Mascotte City Manager Annamarie Reno.
Innovation, Resiliency, Sustainability

“Our plant allows the customer to build stronger homes and communities faster than ever before. Bringing this construction technology to a destination like Orlando is especially rewarding,”
— Gabriele Falchetti, VP of MCT Group Inc.
By combining Italian engineering expertise with American innovation, this project embodies the belief that the world demands to build different and build better.
The plant configuration includes:
- 4 aggregate hoppers of 90 yd³ each, equipped with laser probes for volume monitoring,
- An aggregate weigh batcher (2.6 yd³) discharging into a skip hoist
- A 3000/2000 planetary mixer producing consistent high-quality concrete
- 3 cement silos of 80T each
- MCT proprietary washing heads and full water recycling system, ensuring 100% reuse and minimal waste
- And the advanced MCT CompuNet control system, providing intuitive management of dosing, mixing and distribution
This highly automated facility delivers efficiency, precision and sustainability in every step of the process.
